Obama Priorities More Pressing Than Japan, Libya and the Budget Crisis

This is the leader of the most powerful nation in the world? How many of you who voted for Obama feel buyers remorse now?  Jimmy Carter 2.0, will be Obama's legacy.

Andrea Tantaros of Fox News reports; "...the president was seen golfing this weekend – the second one in a row – in the middle of the crisis in the Middle East, and as Japan tried to pick up the pieces from a giant earthquake and damaging tsunami. Instead of broadcasting his weekly radio address on any of the stern and sobering problems facing our nation and the globe, the president picked equal pay as the subject of his speech.

Then, amidst the criticism that he was disengaged, he decided to invite ESPN to the White House so he could publicly select his March Madness brackets, not exactly the chart topper of presidential priorities.

So is President Obama tone deaf, or is it that he really doesn’t care?

It’s more likely that he simply doesn’t know what to do. The president is simply out of his league. (emphasis mine)

Excellent analysis Andrea! -Biff Wellington

UPDATE:  Forbes reports that President Obama will  finally grab the bull by the horns to show leadership in the face of adversity while vacationing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

From Forbes; 'President Barack Obama will take his first official trip to Brazil this weekend where he will speak in the popular Cinelandia Square in downtown Rio de Janeiro. The Obama family will also take in the sights in Rio. A trip to Corcovado mountain, where the Christ the Redeemer statue stands (France gave us Lady Liberty, gave Brazil Jesus) is supposedly on the itinerary. What trip to Rio would be complete without it?'

  1. Obama took a whole nine minutes out of his day to talk about the NCAA tournament. WOW, nine minutes. Get a grip people! To criticize Obama for participating with EPSN to fill out a bracket is asinine! Obama is only human, and the last time I checked, the whole mess our country is in was due to the fact that we had a warmonger in office for EIGHT YEARS (of which, I'm sure YOU supported!) and I believe our President is entitled to filling out a NCAA bracket since he's having to try and clean up the mess you're REPUBLICAN left behind!

  2. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and I defend your right to voice it. Although, I strongly disagree with it. You won't find your opinion deleted here -- we leave those tactics, and the silencing of opposing viewpoint to those from the left. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :-)
